Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really going ahead.
